In a world that constantly encourages specialization, Shreya Rajotia has built her journey by embracing multiple passions at once. A postgraduate from NIFT Delhi and an entrepreneur deeply involved in her family’s industrial enterprise, she represents a new generation of business leaders who are redefining what success can look like without having to choose. From an early age, Shreya was drawn to both creativity and ambition. While fashion fascinated her, so did the idea of building businesses, carrying forward a legacy that she believes flows through blood, and creating something meaningful. Rather than viewing these interests as competing paths, she chose to pursue both. Today, she balances her entrepreneurial journey as the founder of her fashion label, Tussya by Shreya Pvt. Ltd., while contributing to Technocrats Die Casting (India) Pvt. Ltd. as their Marketing and Strategy Director, alongside Mr. Arun Kumar Rajotia. A family-run manufacturer of pressure die-casting machines with over three decades of legacy, TDC is widely recognized as a market leader in its segment. The contrast between the two industries could not be greater, yet it is this very contrast that has shaped her perspective. Through TUSSYA, Shreya has created a fashion label that reflects her love for maximalism, bold self-expression, and the richness of Sanatan Dharma. The brand’s philosophy celebrates women and their shakti, drawing inspiration from our roots while remaining relevant to contemporary consumers. Guided by a strong instinct for branding and consumer behavior, Shreya has focused on building a label that balances aspiration with accessibility, while remaining deeply connected to its spiritual identity. Equally important to her is the idea of conscious consumption. In an industry often driven by excess, TUSSYA embraces elements of slow fashion and responsible business practices. The brand consciously works towards reducing waste through thoughtful production and minimal packaging, believing that value lies in the product itself rather than elaborate packaging that is often discarded moments after an order is received. For her, sustainability is not a marketing trend but a practical commitment to creating products with greater intention, less waste, and designs that are wearable for decades to come. At the same time, her involvement in a highly technical manufacturing environment has exposed her to a different side of business—one rooted in engineering, operational excellence, and long-term legacy building. Navigating both worlds has taught her that innovation is not confined to a single industry or a single field of education. Whether designing a fashion collection or contributing ideas within a manufacturing enterprise, the underlying principles remain remarkably similar: creativity, problem-solving, ethical decisionmaking, people-management, leadership, initiative and a willingness to adapt.A defining aspect of Shreya’s journey has been her refusal to accept conventional either-or choices. Rather than choosing between startup ambition and family-business responsibility, she embraced both. Rather than choosing between creativity and commerce, she found ways to combine them. Even her educational and professional experiences reflect a willingness to carve her own path rather than follow predetermined expectations. As a young entrepreneur, Shreya believes that success is not about limiting oneself to a single identity. It is about having the courage to explore different interests, challenge traditional boundaries, and continuously evolve. Her journey continues to be shaped by curiosity, ambition, and a desire to create meaningful impact across industries. For Shreya, the future is not about choosing one path over another. It is about building a life that allows multiple passions to coexist, proving that sometimes the most rewarding opportunities emerge when we stop treating ambition as a choice between alternatives and start seeing it as an opportunity to create something uniquely our own.
