With Jaipuria Group assuming the majority stake and coordinating the departure of all current shareholders within two years, the acquisition is a complete buyout. Eventually, the Group will own all of the business. Although ClearDekho will remain a stand-alone brand, Jaipuria Group will now be in complete control of the company, with a planned growth and expansion strategy in place. As the company grows, it could be incorporated into the parent company of the group.

ClearDekho was chosen by CK Jaipuria Group as the best strategic match for its recently opened retail business, Jaipuria Brandz, after the company’s growth trajectory and special positioning in India’s burgeoning eyewear market were noticed. The Group already oversees high-end global brands like Ecco and Adidas, and it views eyewear as a high-potential market with room to grow quickly.

ClearDekho intends to grow rapidly with the goal of reaching a ₹300 crore topline in the next three years, supported by the retail experience and operational depth of the Jaipuria Group. Within five to seven years, the long-term goal is to acquire at least 10% of the Indian eyeglass market. The company has already stated that it will open 80 to 100 additional locations in the next year, first strengthening its position in North India then strategically expanding into the western and southern parts of the nation.
