The CBSE Class 12 results were announced on Tuesday, May 13, and Saavi’s name quickly caught attention as she achieved a remarkable 99.8% score, putting her at the All India Rank 1. This result places her among the brightest students in India this year.
Saavi lives in the Shiv Chowk area of Shamli, a small town in western Uttar Pradesh. Despite coming from a humble background, she achieved this milestone through hard work and consistency. Her father runs a furniture business, and her mother is a homemaker. Saavi gives full credit for her success to her parents and teachers, who constantly supported and encouraged her.
Saavi explained that she did not take any extra coaching or attend private tuition classes. Instead, she focused only on NCERT textbooks, which are the standard study material recommended by CBSE. She revised each topic multiple times and made sure to understand the basics thoroughly.
She said, “Whenever I found something difficult to remember, I read it again and again until it became easy. I didn’t go for extra study material or guides. I just trusted the NCERT books and revised regularly.”
Her method of studying was simple but consistent. She followed a proper timetable and made sure to complete her goals daily. Unlike many students who study under pressure, Saavi remained calm and organized throughout her preparation. She also emphasized the importance of self-discipline and focus.
Her mother, Kavita Jain, shared, “We never forced her to study. She always did it on her own. She would wake up early or stay up late, but never needed reminders from us.” This self-motivation helped her maintain a positive mindset throughout her journey.
When the results were declared and it was revealed that Saavi had topped the CBSE board exams, her school, Scottish International School in Shamli, celebrated the achievement with great enthusiasm. The entire school gathered, and Saavi was welcomed with dhols (drums) and a grand celebration. Teachers, students, and staff cheered her on as she arrived at the school premises.
The school principal praised Saavi, calling her a role model for other students. Teachers described her as focused, polite, and dedicated throughout the academic session. Her achievement became a moment of pride for the entire school and local community.
Saavi has even bigger dreams for the future. She now wants to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and hopes to become an IAS officer. Her aim is to work for the government and bring positive change in society.
She said, “I want to serve the country and make a difference. Civil services is the right platform where I can work for the people and make their lives better.”
Her ambition is clear: to not just shine personally but to serve the nation. This dream reflects the values of new-age students who want to achieve more than just academic success.
