Rohit Sharma just broke the internet with a single Instagram story and didn’t even say a word.
The former India captain posted what appears to be a cover page of a script draft, titled ‘Draft #45’, dated April 9, 2026, with the Netflix and Mumbai Indians logos sitting right there in plain sight. The title of the project? Partially hidden. Deliberately, it seems.
And that one detail has sent fans into a full spiral.
Is it a documentary on his journey with Mumbai Indians? A biographical film on one of Indian cricket’s greatest captains? A behind-the-scenes look at what really goes on inside an IPL dressing room? Nobody knows, and Rohit is clearly in no rush to tell anyone.
The post has been screenshot, dissected, zoomed in on, and shared across every platform imaginable. Fan pages are running theories. Cricket Twitter is doing what it does best. Even people who don’t follow cricket closely are suddenly very interested in what ‘Draft #45’ could possibly mean.
And honestly, can you blame them?
Rohit Sharma’s story with Mumbai Indians alone is the stuff of cinema. Five IPL titles. Moments that have lived rent-free in cricket fans’ heads for years. If Netflix is putting that on screen in any format, the anticipation is going to be enormous.
For now, all anyone has is a half-hidden title, a date, and two very recognisable logos. But sometimes that’s all you need to get an entire country talking.
Whatever this is, it’s coming. And the wait is already unbearable.
